These images are derived from software I wrote on my Dragon 32 home computer in 1984, when I was a teenager. It's the same code as used in the Chroma series. The digital information in the computer's electronic memory, or RAM, is displayed on screen as black-and-white patterns. These images are digital photographs of the screen, very close-up, to create the warped effect. Subtle moire interference patterns and raster line textures are visible, which distinguishes these images from digital manipulation.
