GLITCH ART BX10

SECRET COOKIE

When you go adventuring on the Internet, looking for things to buy
that you don't really need, all sorts of sites secretly drop little
precious "cookies" on your computer, to keep track of what you're doing.

This print shows the data stored in my cookie database.
The large-scale structure is simply a consequence of the format that
the data is arranged in. I adjusted the colours and contrast levels
and so revealed two main parts to the structure - the background pale part
and the stronger foreground dotted part. I think the background looks
like a city skyline in the distance. The dark pixels represent the
worthless digital data output every millisecond by the inhabitants.

The colouring is cool copper tones with dark rusty reds and golds.

Inkjet print.
Substrate is 297 x 210mm (A4) 230gsm heavyweight photo paper.
